Uv radiation – In cloudy days you can still get sunburn cause it reduce UVR , UVR level are around 40%  Sometimes working outside means more time in the sunlight means risk for u getting skin cancer, shade can reduce Uv radiation  to reduce by more than 50% , There are three types of UV radiation UVA , UVC and UVB 

UVA: UVA Radiation goes deep into ur skin causing skin damage , wrinkles and blotchiness  

UVB: UVB gets into ur top skin layer and can also cause sunburn and skin damage and skin cancer.

UVC: UVC is the most dangerous type of UV Radiation 

 

There are lots of effects that are caused by UV rays such as , Skin cancer (Melanoma and Nonmelanoma) Other skin damage and eye damage sometimes sunburns can get bad your entire skin could react it’s called sun poisoning , 350 people lost their lives from having skin cancer like melanoma  in nz each year There is lots of sign to get skin cancer ,  A large brownish spot with darker speckles. A mole that changes  colour, size or feel or that bleeds. portions that appear red, pink, white, blue or blue-black. A painful bruise that itches or burns.

 

The sun and artificial sources, such as tanning beds, both produce uv radiation, a type of non-ionizing radiation. Even though it helps people in some areas, such as by producing vitamin D, there are also risks to their health. Sunlight is the sun’s natural source of UV radiation.

 

Before the age of 50, skin cancer rates are higher in women than in men, but after the age of 50, skin cancer rates are higher in men, which may be related to differences in UV exposure during free time and at work. According to estimations, One in 27 men and One in 40 women will get melanoma throughout their lives
